The illustrious career of DJ Applejac spans well over two decades. He is known for his ability to ‘mash up’ any and all genres of music. His knowledge base of diverse music catalogs has made him an intricate part here at Pyramid Music Group. Here is a list of just some of his career highlights:

  • Produced "Better" for Nicholas Ryan Gant for Rahdu Mahdi's "On Deck, vol. 1" compilation for BBE Music

  • Remixed Ahmed Sirour (MUSIC)'s "Warm Rain" for his "The After 2am Sessions” album
    remix of Dezaray Dawn's tune "Chameleon" (was used in Ava DuVernay's short film for Miu Miu entitled "The Door”)

  • Launched "Mecca Radio" radio show on Philly's WURD

  • Produced cover of Herbie Hancock's "Butterfly" as Shecky's Jazzy Tofu, for the "Tempo Dreams, vol.1" compilation on Bastard Jazz, compiled by Tall Black Guy Productions
    Remixed "No Words" for Frank McComb for his "Shorties & Singles” compilation

  • Released the lead single,"Richard Penniman" from his and Maleke O'Ney's upcoming album, "Not Really...But Kinda", dropping Jan 2020
